Canon CanoScan 8600F under review
Thursday 15 March, 2007
In a recent review, the Canon CanoScan 8600F fared well, which may be of interest to users of
HP A4 photo gloss laser paper and
Canon printer cartridges.
According to Pocket-lint.co.uk, the 8600F is a good printer that is easy to use and is able to produce "great scans" at a relatively fast rate; although scan speeds do slow when image processing is activated.
The scanner was also commended for coming complete with an "excellent bundled software package" that includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.
"The CanoScan 8600F is a fast A4 scanner … that can provide pro quality scans quickly and easily," said Pocket-lint.co.uk.
Among the differing features of the scanner is the ability to scan film negatives and slides with the in-built Film Adapter Unit, which may be of interest to users of printers such as the
Canon Pixma MP600 and the
Epson Stylus Photo R1800.
Canon manufacturers a range of products that include inkjet printers and digital cameras.
