Canon laser printer scores 5 star rating
Thursday 01 February, 2007
A Canon laser printer that makes use of
Canon laser toner cartridges has been highly recommended by a leading computer publication, grabbing a five out of five rating.
A "well-designed, entry-level colour laser printer with particularly easy maintenance and impressive print quality" is how Computeractive described the
Canon LaserShot LBP-5000, which uses
Canon laser toner cartridges to achieve this quality.
The fact that the Canon printer is relatively cheap to buy, retailing in the region of £160, was seen as a plus point, as was the fact that the machine has what Computeractive describes as "good running costs".
A big factor in the printer's five star rating was the good quality monochrome and colour prints produced by the
LaserShot LBP-5000, enabled by the
Canon laser toner cartridges that the printer uses.
These high quality prints emerge from the machine at a speed of eight pages per minute in both monochrome and colour, according to Canon.
