Canon lends support to Tesco Red Cross charity partnership

In news which may be of interest to users of
Canon laser toner cartridges and
Canon printer cartridges, Canon has announced its support for the British Red Cross Tesco Charity of the Year 2007.
As part of its effort to support the cause, every purchase of a Canon PowerShot A460 from a participating Tesco store will generate a £5 donation from Canon to the British Red Cross.
The partnership has been established as part of an effort to raise £2 million for the funding of local crisis care.
The camera offers a number of features, which may be of interest to users of printers, such as the
Canon LaserShot LBP-5000 and the
Canon iP4200, including a five mega-pixel resolution and a two-inch LCD screen.
"Now that spring is well and truly here and colours are so much brighter, it's a fantastic time to invest in a digital camera," said Canon.
"The Canon PowerShot A460 is a great family camera - easy for everyone to use, from toddlers to grandparents," the company added.
In addition to digital cameras Canon manufacturers a number of products, including scanners and binoculars.
