Canon recommends PIXMA equipment for Xmas
Thursday 21 December, 2006
Canon has recommended its all-in-one printers and matte photo paper for that most festive of pastimes – making your own Christmas decorations.
The company has issued instructions on how to make one such decoration. The Holiday Photo Craft cube has been designed by Canon in association with Erin Manning, professional photographer and US television personality.
And the company recommends using the Canon PIXMA MP600 printer, as well as compatible printer ink and Canon Matte Photo Paper 8.5" x 11".
The Canon PIXMA MP600 is one of the newest printers launched by Canon onto the UK market. With mini-lab functionality, the all-in-one is perfect for printing pictures.
Canon's Matte Photo Paper is ideal for the Christmas period as it can also be used to make your own greeting cards.
Once you have finished making those Christmas decorations, however, don't forget to turn your printer off. Canon recently revealed that 4.4 million turkeys could be roasted using the energy wasted by office computer equipment over Christmas.
