The Canon Selphy ES1 Photo Printer has grabbed a recommendation from a well-known internet review site, performing particularly well across all categories.
TrustedReviews has been reviewing printers and other peripherals for four years online and rates printers across five categories. All rated out of ten, it judges the printers on features, performance, print quality, value and then gives an overall rating for the product.
Canon's Selphy ES1 Photo Printer is the latest printer to come under the TrustedReviews spotlight and is Canon's newest direct photo printer. Boasting an integrated ink and media cartridge, a 2.5-inch colour screen and wireless printing, the Selphy was highly regarded.
For features, print quality and value, the printer scored a high nine out of ten, while it grabbed an eight for performance. This gave the printer an overall score of nine out of ten and left the TrustedReviews team very impressed.
"Its [Canon's] latest machine in the series, the ES1, refines the technique [of dye sublimation] and provides extra features which should make it still more convenient to use," the review said.
The new Selphy also incorporates a special creative print button, which allows photos to be personalised with the likes of speech bubbles.
