Canon Selphy gets four-star recognition

One of the newest printers to use
Canon printer cartridges is the
Canon Selphy ES1, which has scooped a very creditable review from an influential industry magazine.
The recently-released
Canon Selphy ES1 was awarded an excellent four stars out of five by Computeractive magazine, with the quality of the prints produced using its
Canon printer cartridges among the positive points about the printer.
The magazine called the new Canon machine a "portable printer with good creative features", suggesting that prints from digital cameras and memory cards using
Canon printer cartridges are better than those from a computer.
Canon has said that the cost per print using the
Canon Selphy ES1 is as low as £0.022 and boasts that the prints produced using the
Canon printer cartridges will last for 100 years.
With a dedicated creative print button and an automatic red eye correction tool, the
Canon Selphy ES1 is most definitely aimed at the digital photograph enthusiast, something Computeractive recognised with its four-star rating.
