EMEA increasingly choosing Dell
Wednesday 22 November, 2006
Dell has announced that the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region saw revenue of $3.3 billion (£1.7 billion) during the third quarter of the year as the number of units sold grew by nine per cent.
This suggests that more of us are splashing out on Dell products, which include, of course, a number of inkjet, all-in-one and photo printers and the printer ink cartridges and toner that go with them.
In fact, in the software and peripherals market worldwide, Dell saw revenue figures stand at $2.3 billion (£1.2 billion), suggesting there is plenty of people choosing Dell for their printer needs.
EMEA now accounts for almost a quarter of the company's total net revenue, standing at 23 per cent of the total figure, as consumers and businesses in the region stock up on Dell computers, printers and peripherals.
Home and small office users in the EMEA region this month have benefited from the launch of a new Dell photo all-in-one printer, with the Photo AIO 926 entering the market.
