Epson announces launch of new V200 Photo Scanner

In news which may be of interest to users of
Epson photo printers and
Epson printer cartridges, Epson has announced the forthcoming launch of its new V200 scanner.
Available from July 2007, the new scanner offers a number of features, including a resolution of 4,800dpi, in addition to the ability to scan in both portrait and landscape formats.
"In spite of almost all photos now being taken on digital cameras, there remains customer demand for a scanner that is affordable," said Mark Robinson, senior product manager at Epson in the UK.
"The Epson Perfection V200 Photo will satisfy the needs of the home or small office customer," he added.
Epson's new scanner is able to utilise a number of formats, ranging from A4 to 35mm slides and will be priced at £69.99, which may interest users of
Lexmark printer cartridges and
HP laser toner cartridges.
Based in Japan, Epson was established in 1942.
