Epson reveals new all-in-ones
Tuesday 26 September, 2006
Epson has revealed the latest printers to join its line up, with three new all-in-ones being shown at Photokina, the imaging event.
The DX6000, DX5000 and DX4000 are all targeted at the entry level user, offering a variety of functions for those who have a low print volume output.
The DX4000 is aimed mostly at the home user and more specifically the family, with Epson saying it offers a "complete printing and copying solution for all the family", including the fact that it can be used as a standalone colour photocopier.
Epson has suggested that the DX6000 is more focused at the small business or home office user, touted as "a complete printing and copying solution for everyone". The all-in-one offers direct printing through memory cards or PictBridge, as well as an LCD preview pane and the standalone photocopier function.
"As well as providing crisp and smudge-proof output on plain paper, thanks to our DURABrite Ultra ink, you can create high-quality photos on glossy paper that are bright and vibrant," said Coll Kretz, product manager of Epson Europe, according to What Digital Camera.
"All three models also deliver cost effective printing through the individual ink cartridges, making them your perfect home printing partner."
