HP 'expects modest growth'

In news which may be of interest to users of
HP printer cartridges and
HP laser toner cartridges, HP has confirmed it expects its long-term sales growth to be modest.
According to Mark Hurd, HP's chief executive, the company's recent period of revenue growth was not sustainable and the company is "doing better" but "not doing great", reports Reuters.
"Think of us as a 4-to-6-percent-growth company," said Mr Hurd.
"I would give us a good grade on improvement. I think we are better incrementally. I think we are still poor absolutely," he added.
Mr Hurd's comments were made during an interview at an annual technology conference, hosted by Fortune magazine.
Founded in California in 1939, HP manufacturers a number of products, including digital cameras, scanners, personal computers and printers such as the
PhotoSmart D7160 and the
OfficeJet 6310.
