Hewlett-Packard (HP) has been recognised with a pair of awards at the Gartner Print & Imaging Summit, which took place towards the end of 2006.
At a gala awards dinner, the company was named both Best Printing Technology Provider and Best Printing Hardware Provider, chosen by a panel of senior IT figures and chief information officer from a clutch of companies.
"HP is honoured to have our printing technology and hardware recognised by IT professionals," said Kris Robinson, vice president, enterprise and public sector - Americas for HP's imaging and printing group.
HP also said that it saw the support of the business world and senior figures within it as one of the company's "greatest assets".
The awards won by HP follow recent accolades for a whole host of big name players in the printer market, including the likes of Toshiba, Konica Minolta and Xerox.
The latter recently revealed that it had won a total of 208 awards over the course of 2006 for its printers and other products.
