HP launches new Photosmart all-in-one
Friday 08 September, 2006
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched its latest printer on the UK market, with the all-in-one Photosmart C5180 joining the competition.
Offering printing speeds of 32 pages per minute (ppm) for black and white printing and a marginally slower 31 ppm for colour printing, the Photosmart C5180 looks certain to make an impact on the all-in-one market.
What's more, the six ink cartridges allow a 10x15cm photo to be printed in just 12 seconds, website Pocket-lint reveals, great news for amateur photography enthusiasts.
Available this month at a price of approximately £200, the printer even allows you to cut out the middle man by enabling picture editing via the printer, removing the need for a computer.
Several computers can be connected to the printer via its Ethernet connectivity port, meaning it is perfect for small office use as well as for home users.
The Photosmart C5180 is the fifth Photosmart all-in-one printer from HP, joining the 3210, 2575, C4180 and C3180.
