HP launches two new printers
Monday 21 August, 2006
Hewlett Packard has announced the two latest additions to its printer product lineup, with something to inspire digital photo lovers to stock up on the HP printer cartridges.
Pocket-link has revealed that the Photosmart D7360 Photo Printer and the Photosmart A618 Compact Photo Printer will be the newest HP printers on offer to consumers, priced at around £200 and £150 respectively.
It takes just 12 seconds to produce a 10x15 cm print on the D7360, which sports a 3.4-inch screen allowing ease of use. A PhotoFix button allows the removal of redeye and PictBridge allows memory cards or cameras to be connected quickly.
Six ink cartridges are used by the D7360, but it is not portable, unlike HP's handled and battery-powered A618.
With a smaller flip-up screen (2.4 inches) and a time of 40 seconds per print, the A618 is not as fast as its larger brother, but offers the huge benefit that it can be used whenever and wherever you feel like it.
