HP printer paper fares well for brand awareness
Tuesday 30 January, 2007
HP office paper has shot up the rankings in the Opticom International Research brand equity tracking survey, rising from 12th to 3rd overall.
The survey is carried out across seven European countries, incorporating the thoughts and view of some 4,000 people, who judged HP printer paper to be the third best in terms of brand strategy.
Evaluating the printer paper was based on a number of factors, including spontaneous awareness and associations and loyalty. On these qualities, Xerox printer paper was found to be the number one in the brand equity index.
Canon printer paper maintained its 2005 position of 11th place, suggesting that while
Canon laser toner cartridges are often recognised as being as good as
HP laser toner cartridges, when it comes to paper, HP printer paper is better known.
"With the data originating from this survey, we provide the market with a goldmine of information allowing brand owners to develop their knowledge on how their brand is bought and used and to improve their brand strategies in order to optimise the equity of their office paper brands," said Marijn van der Sluijs.
HP offers a range of laser paper, including
HP A4 photo gloss laser paper and
HP A4 superior laser paper.
