Katun intends to expand printer ink options in '07
Friday 26 January, 2007
Katun, the supplier of alternative imaging solutions to Canon ink and other toner, has said that it intends to expand its product offering in 2007.
Laser printer, colour copier and colour printer supplies are all in the pipeline for the new year, suggesting consumers may have another alternative to Epson printer cartridges, Lexmark printer cartridges and HP ink in the future.
"Katun has always focused on delivering the best quality and value to our customers," said Bob Barr, vice president of marketing.
"One way to deliver value is through a product offering that provides depth and breadth in digital imaging, and this expansion continues with that goal in mind. At the same time, we continue to emphasise quality."
Mr Barr said that each Katun product is tested to make sure it is fully compatible with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.
The products also have at least equal quality to the Canon copier toner it could be used instead of.
In June last year, Katun introduced a universal toner cartridge that could replace Canon toner in the Canon imageRUNNER series.
