Monday 15 January, 2007
Kodak has revealed that it is "pleased" with its progress to date with regards to improving its impact on the inkjet printer market.
The company has said that it wants to have a "meaningful presence" in that sector, something it expects to be able to refer to when it makes its fourth quarter earnings announcement next month.
"Our intention to meaningfully participate in the inkjet market and our decision to define a new strategic direction for our Health Group are understandably of interest to our investors and I am mindful of our commitment to provide updates on both of these initiatives," said Antonio M Perez, Kodak chairman and chief executive officer.
"We are pleased with our progress to date and we fully expect to make definitive announcements on both of these important business initiatives on or before February 8th."
Kodak currently offers two printers in the EASYSHARE range in the UK, the EASYSHARE Photo Printer 300 and the EASYSHARE Photo Printer 500.
The company also has five different EASYSHARE printer docks in its product offering for people who love to print digital photos. All you have to do is make sure you have plenty of printer ink cartridges and photo paper!
