Lexmark has become the latest company to land an end-of-year accolade for one of its printers, with the X5470 All-in-One with Fax and Photo the machine recognised.
The all-in-one was named International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards honouree in the Mobile/Home Office category by a panel comprised of industry experts, trade press members and engineers.
"Lexmark is dedicated to providing reliable, high-quality printing solutions that help today's consumer and small office/home office customers to be more productive," said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president and president of its consumer printer division.
"The X5470 delivers the level of business class performance that makes it easy for our customers to get more done and we are very pleased by the recognition that it is receiving."
As an honouree, the X5470 will be part of the Innovations 2007 Showcase during the 2007 International CES event, which will be held next year in Las Vegas.
The X5470 has recently been released in the UK, offering print speeds of up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white and 18 ppm in colour.
PictBridge technology and one-touch PC-free copying means the X5470 is quick and easy to use.
