New Brother all-in-ones are feature-packed
Tuesday 25 July, 2006
Brother has said that its latest range of flatbed laser all-in-ones offers a "very strong" range of extra features that should make using one that little bit more enjoyable.
The new machines can be used to print, copy and scan and feature the duplex system, which allows double-sided prints or copies to be made without the need to turn the paper over.
Brother's new range, which includes the DCP-8060, DCP-8065DN, MFC-8460N, MFC-8860DN and MFC-8870DW, certainly seem to be packed with the latest features, including scan to FTP, technology allowing the user to save a scanned document to a shared network.
The MFC all-in-ones in the range are Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), which allow both faxing and emailing to be carried out from the machine, saving the need for PC access.
"These stylish and compact machines provide an ideal space-saving solution for those requiring a desktop machine, and saves time walking to and from a shared printer," said Lesley Howe, Brother's customer marcoms manager.
"In keeping with Brother's track record in the all-in-one market, this latest range features a very strong range of added value features for example LDAP compatibility at no additional cost."
