Thursday 14 September, 2006
Lexmark's new P350 Portable Photo Printer has taken the printing world by storm with the inclusion of the firm's new ink technology.
The printer is the first to offer the company's Evercolor II pigmented ink system, which is expected to be a big selling point.
The system is designed for use with PerfectFinish photo paper; together they combine to offer high quality, durable photos, that are said to last up to 200 years if stored in a photo album.
"The Lexmark P350 delivers powerful ink technology in a compact, portable package," said Najib Bahous, Lexmark's vice president.
"With the Lexmark P350, photo enthusiasts and amateur photographers alike can produce lab-quality photos that are rich in colour and far more durable and lasting."
The P350 can be connected to a PC or Mac or print directly from memory cards, USB drives, PictBridge compatible digital cameras and Bluetooth mobile phones.
