Wednesday 22 November, 2006
OKI, the telecoms, semiconductor and printer company, has announced how it will be demonstrating some of its products at the upcoming ITU Telecom World 2006 expo in Hong Kong.
The exhibition, which will take place from December 4th to December 8th, will enable OKI to demonstrate how it is looking to the e-society that the company is predicting for the future.
"We will be showcasing our products in four areas. One area is products for Network Infrastructures, where we exhibit various products that support next generation networks (NGN)," said Katsumasa Shinozuka, chief executive officer of OKI.
"The others include the areas of Home & Personal, Office, and Public Sector. We would like visitors to understand how we will contribute to the realisation of a society where boundaries between countries, regions, and cultures are broken down, enabling individuals to engage in various social activities in an unrestricted, yet secure way."
Among the products that OKI will be demonstrating in the four areas described include a secure print system for the public sector with IC card authentication.
OKI Printing Solutions, the printer sector of OKI, offer mono, colour, multifunction and serial impact dot matrix printers for a range of needs and uses.
