Olympus announces new digital SLR

Olympus has announced the launch of a new ten mega pixel digital single lens reflex (SLR) camera, which may be of interest to users of Canon printer cartridges and Epson printer cartridges.

The new E-510 offers digital camera users a number of features including a 2.5-inch LCD display, in addition to improvements in dust removal technology to help keep the image sensor free from debris.

"The E-510 incorporates a variety of exciting functions that enable users to capture beautiful photographic images that truly express their original creative intent," said Olympus.

"These functions include a newly developed sensor-shift type image stabilizer that employs Olympus's exclusive Supersonic Wave Drive (SWD) motor," the company added.

Olympus's E-510 is expected to be made available in June 2007 and will make use of the company's new TruePic III image processor.

In related news, Olympus has also announced the launch of its new E-410 digital SLR camera, which may be of interest to users of Lexmark printer cartridges and HP A4 photo gloss laser paper.
