Ricoh shows off document solutions in San Antonio

Ricoh is taking the opportunity that is the 2006 ARMA International Conference and Expo taking place in San Antonio this week to demonstrate and show a selection of its document solutions.

The event features many names recognisable from the printing and document management world, including Canon, Kodak and 3M.

The technologies shown by Ricoh at the conference in San Antonio includes the Enterprise Scanning Solution GlobalScan, which allows scanned documents to be delivered directly to back end systems.

Ricoh's Network Fax Systems is also on display at the event, offering storage of digital files and automatic distribution of documents using the internet. This latest way to use a fax system should offer increased security benefits for businesses and other users.

The conference runs until Wednesday and comes hot on the heels of both Digital Print World 2006 and Graph Expo.

Last week's shows demonstrated the best of printers, print cartridges and much more from both sides of the Atlantic.
