Some exciting news has emerged for the world of printers and printer cartridges from Samsung, as a new tiny printer has made its bow.
Samsung, one of the biggest printer engine manufacturers in the world, has announced the launch of what it is calling the world's smallest desktop colour laser printer.
The CLP-300 weighs just 30lbs and has dimensions of just 15.4" width x 13.5" depth x 10.4" height, which by all accounts is remarkably tiny!
"The CLP-300 series not only provides customers with high-quality output, quickly and affordably, but can deliver these results without sacrificing desktop space," said Tony Venice, senior solutions product manager, Samsung Electronics Information Technology Division.
"Additionally, there has become a frustration factor for the typical inkjet customer who is now finding that replacing multiple ink cartridges can be cumbersome and expensive. These new models from Samsung provide a compelling colour printing solution that saves the average customer money, time and frustration."
Samsung's new printer can pump out 17 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white and 4ppm in colour, with the first black and white print emerging in less than 14 seconds from the mini printer's ready position.
