Software for printing labels released
Wednesday 26 July, 2006
A new piece of software could create an increased demand for printer ink as it enables the user to design printable labels for CDs and DVDs.
The Avery Mac Label Expert is a free downloadable piece of software for Mac users that allows the creation of addressing and identification labels, business cards, IndexMaker printable dividers and CD and DVD labels.
All the designed products can then be printed off using your home inkjet or laser printer, but the software could also be used for Mac-orientated small businesses too.
"We are always looking at providing our customers with new and innovative ways to use our products," said Stuart McIntyre, assistant product manager at Avery.
"By creating free software for Mac users, we are building on the Mac solutions that we already provide today. I am sure this product will prove to be very popular."
Text and graphics can be added to the templates meaning you can totally customise your own labels to print the perfect one to match your needs.
