Software launched to make networks easier
Monday 08 January, 2007
Some new software has been launched to make printer management easier no matter what operating system (OS) or format your computer uses.
Whether you are using a Mac, or prefer Windows XP or the new Windows Vista for your OS, Network Magic from Pure Networks is supposed to make printing on a network from any computer more simple, according to the company behind it.
"With the introduction of Windows Vista and Mac to the home network, the process of sharing files and printers has become a much more complex task to the average home user," said Pure Networks chief executive officer Jeff Erwin.
"Network Magic for the Mac is the first and only solution to eliminate this common frustration - allowing all computers, printers and wireless devices in a consumer's home network to work together seamlessly, regardless of the operating system."
The company has said that the new software should allow consumers to get more out of their networks via "a few mouse clicks".
The first Network Magic product emerged on the market in 2005, manufactured especially for PCs.
