TallyGenicom launches new colour laser printer
Wednesday 08 November, 2006
TallyGenicom has launched what it is calling a "new breed" of colour laser printer, with the introduction of the 8108N colour laser.
Aimed at individual or workgroup users, the 8108N offers printing speeds of 31 pages per minute (ppm) for black and white and 8ppm for colour printing.
"Companies such as estate agents increasingly require dynamic promotional material to effectively market their portfolio and the 8108N is ideal for such an environment where printers are in demand," explained TallyGenicom's product manager, Duncan Vass.
The printer has what the company describes as a "cutting edge" OPC drum, which it is claimed will last the life of the printer.
This quality and durability has its long-term benefits, as Mr Vass described: "Because of the unique OPC drum, we are now able to offer end users with even lower running costs than before, in markets where quality and reliability are key."
Retailing at £199 plus VAT, the 8108N is "very competitively priced".
TallyGenicom recently revealed it had been awarded a contract to supply supermarket chain Asda with its printer services.
