Monkey moment unites Hollywood couple

British actress Helena Bonham Carter, who stars in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Fight Club, has been speaking about how the seeds of love were sown in her relationship with director Tim Burton.
In an interview with the Guardian, the actress described the first time the couple met, in what was a magic monkey moment.
"Tim is very shy, and I was dressed as an ape all the time, so we didn't really collide," she told the paper, referring to the film Planet of the Apes on which they were working.
Despite the fact that the actress was made up like a monkey, it proved to be the start of a blossoming relationship.
"The first conversation we had - which was pretty much the only one throughout the film - was about Hampstead," she explained, although how well she could communicate with a monkey mask on remains unclear.
Bonham Carter is currently back in cinemas with her new film Sixty Six, a story about a boy whose barmitzvah clashes with the 1966 World Cup final.
