A British band have confirmed their dislike of being compared with the Arctic Monkeys, it has emerged.
According to the World Entertainment News Network, Little Man Tate do not approve of the comparison, which they believe to be down to them also coming from Sheffield.
"It seems just because we both come from the same town people assume we [are] copycats or whatever," said Jon Windle, frontman of Little Man Tate at Rage, a club in London.
"We're very different - we don't know them and they don't know us, so I don't why we're always compared to them," he added.
Formed around 12 months ago, Little Man Tate have described themselves as fans of music by bands such as Blur, the Sex Pistols, Pulp and the Stone Roses.
