Canon announces Indian launch of Pixma iP1880

In news which may be of interest to users of
Canon laser toner cartridges and
Canon printer cartridges, Canon has announced the Indian launch of its Pixma iP1880 printer.
Available with a print resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, the Pixma iP1880 offers maximum print speeds of up to 20 and 16 pages-per-minute in black and while and colour modes respectively, reports IT News Online.
Canon's printer is compatible with both Apple Macs and Windows-based machines.
"The classy new design of the iP1880 enables it to fit beautifully into any home as it occupies less space on the work stations and looks extremely attractive," said VP Sajeevan, assistant director of consumer systems products at Canon India.
"The Pixma iP1880 [offers] superior quality fast photo-prints and clear documents. It certainly adds greater value for the price-conscious consumers," he added.
Canon's Pixma iP1880 also comes equipped with the company's Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering technology, which may interest users of
Epson photo printers and
Lexmark laser printers.
Canon was established in Japan in 1937.
