Canon enjoys 'strong' European market position

New research, which may be of interest to users of
Canon laser toner cartridges and
Canon printer cartridges has found Canon to be the premier brand in Western Europe for printers and copies.
According to data published by InfoSource, Canon Europe has the highest unique market share for colour, monochrome and colour-capable product categories, reports LetsGoDigital.
Indeed, according to Canon Europe, every year the company invests ten per cent of the company's "non-consolidated net sales" into product research and development.
"Retaining our number one position in [these markets] is significant for us, in that it confirms that businesses prefer to buy Canon when it comes to … high-quality document output," said Paul Rowntree, European marketing manager for Canon Europe.
Worldwide, Canon operates in more than 50 countries and employs over 100,000 individuals, which may be of interest to users of the
Canon LaserShot LBP-5000 and the
Canon iP6600D, in addition to users of
Lexmark printer cartridges and
Epson printer cartridges.
