Canon extends presence in 'Arab world'

In news which may be of interest to users of
Canon laser toner cartridges and
Canon printer cartridges, Canon has announced plans to extend its presence into Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
Indeed, according to Canon, although the company is still without offices in Saudi Arabia, an office in Morocco has already been established, reports Arabian Business.
"[Morocco and Saudi Arabia] are the markets where we are seeing the biggest growth," said Mohamed Salama, a marketing manager for Canon.
"We know that the Saudi government is going towards the direction of economic liberalisation," he added.
Canon believes its offices in Saudi Arabia will be open before the end of the year.
Although established in 1937, Canon's predecessor company was created in 1933 and given the name Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory, which may interest users of
Epson printer cartridges and
Lexmark printer cartridges.
