Canon "raises the bar"
Tuesday 03 July, 2007
Canon is aiming to "raise the bar for performance" with the launch of a new selection of printers.
The company, which also provides
Canon laser toner cartridges, has just brought the Canon Pixma MP470 and MP210 Photo All-In-One printers onto the market.
Both models are ideal for a university student or home office worker and offer functionality and style, Canon states.
"All-in-one printers have been on the rise for more than a year," said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager at Canon USA's consumer imaging group.
"Having a small machine that can copy, print and scan for student projects, photo albums, home scrap-booking or crafting is very desirable."
He added that Canon wants to increase ease-of-use and enhance design with its new products.
Earlier this week, IT Business reported that Canon's Pixma MP530 is good for small offices.
