Epson Stylus R265 'wins favourable review'
Thursday 01 March, 2007
The Stylus R265 from Epson was favourably received in a recent review by PC Adviser, which may be of interest to users of
Epson printer cartridges.
Although characterised as somewhat of an "imposing lump" and not "the most thrilling peripheral to tether to [a] PC", the R265 was noted for its slow but high-quality printing, reports PC Review.
Indeed, despite being described as "bulky", it was commended for its overall build quality and low-noise activity.
"Print quality is extremely good overall and well worth the wait. Rich colour saturation is both balanced and accurate," said PC Adviser.
Although the R265 does not include either a memory card slot, or indeed an LCD screen, there is an adaptor included for printing directly onto compatible DVDs or CDs.
The printer also includes a suite of software for making adjustments to photographs.
Epson manufacturers a range of printers, including the
Epson Stylus Photo R1800 and the
Epson PictureMate 240.
