FujiFilm Dimatix has announced the launch of its new one Pico litre print head, which may be of interest to users of
Canon printer cartridges and
Epson printer cartridges.
The new 16-jet print head is suitable for use in a number of applications, including biotechnology, displays and electronics such as RFID antennae and organic array elements, reports The Recycler.
FujiFilm's new print head has been based upon MEMS technology and is also available as a ten Pico litre cartridge for larger-scale applications.
"With the Dimatic materials printer, we're printing suspensions of silver nanoparticles to create source-drain electrodes for use in flexible displays," said Dr Patrick Smith from Eindhoven University of Technology Laboratory of Macromolecular Chemistry and Nanoscience.
"The new cartridge is helping us create electrodes that are smaller than the eye can see," he added.
FujiFilm Dimatix is a subsidiary of FujiFilm, which manufacturers a number of photographic products, which may be used by purchasers of
HP printer cartridges and
Lexmark printer cartridges, such as inkjet paper and digital memory cards.
