HP cartridges 'outperformed' refilled competitors

In news which may be of interest to users of
HP printer cartridges and
HP laser toner cartridges, original HP inkjet cartridges outperform their refilled competitors, it has emerged.
According to the results of a study conducted for HP, when compared with 13 other cartridge brands - which are all easily available across North America - the company's own cartridges were found to be consistently more reliable.
The study was conducted for HP by QualityLogic, a provider of testing services and tools.
"This study reinforces what we have long known to be true: Original HP inkjet cartridges are more reliable and a better value for customers," Tuan Tran, vice president of the sales and marketing, supplies, imaging and printing group at HP.
"Our customers know that they can trust HP cartridges to consistently print more great-looking photos and documents out of the box," he added.
Indeed, the study found that HP's own inkjet cartridges to print 57.5 per cent more pages - on average - than the 13 other competing cartridges in the study, which may interest users of
Lexmark printer cartridges and
Canon printer cartridges.
