HP PhotoSmart C6180 under review
Wednesday 04 April, 2007
In news which may be of interest to users of
HP printer cartridges and
HP office paper, the HP PhotoSmart C6180 was received favourably in a recent review.
According to PC Advisor, despite the overall printer noise and "cramped features" caused by the presence of an automatic document feeding tray, the C6180 is a "decent option" that was able to produce print speeds up to 15 pages-per-minute for black-and-white copy during testing.
The maximum resolution offered by the printer is 4,800 x 1,200 dots-per-inch.
"[HP's] C6180 is a mouthy little so-and-so and, when not in use, could often be heard churning away to itself," states the review.
"[However,] as a general printer, the HP works well. It showed itself to be easily one of the fastest [multi-function devices] we've seen yet," it adds.
Among the additional features of the device include, a fax-modem, a memory card drive and networking capabilities, which may be of interest for users of
HP A4 superior laser paper and
Epson printer cartridges.
Other printers manufactured by HP include the
PhotoSmart D7160 and the
OfficeJet 6310.
