Konica Minolta gets hospital role

Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester has completed the installation of cutting edge new digital imaging systems from Konica Minolta.
Among other technologies installed at the independent day healthcare facility, Konica Minolta has supplied two new recently launched products.
Konica Minolta has supplied a Drypro 793 Laser Imager and the Regius 190 CR System with CS-3 interface, which it says are the ideal combination for the hospital's integrated PACS system.
Lead radiographer at the facility Adrian Stokes said: "Konica Minolta Medical has provided us with a very user friendly and functional CR solution."
Bridgewater Hospital said that the new imaging technology put it in front of its competition in supplying healthcare services to the public of Greater Manchester.
Konica Minolta Europe general manager Brain Goldthorpe said: "The independent sector in England has the freedom to select CR systems that best suit the needs of their patients and staff."
Although perhaps better known for its range of bizhub printers, Konica Minolta has a sizeable range of laser imaging products for the medical sector, with the Drypro 793 offering a hard disk print memory in the same way that many laser printers do.
