Kyocera launches printers offering "best of both worlds"
Wednesday 15 November, 2006
Kyocera has launched a brand new range of printers that offer "the best of both worlds" by providing highly reliable, quality colour printing at one of the lowest monochrome print costs available.
According to the company, its new A4 colour network models, the FS-C5015N and the FS-C5025N, can print between 11 and 20 pages per minute and have a respective monochrome cost-per-page of just 0.9 pence and 0.7 pence.
Kyocera says this is lower than many dedicated mono printers currently available on the market and means that users can swap their current mono printer for one of Kyocera's new colour models without increasing their monochrome printing costs as a result.
Both printers, which go on sale this month, have PCL6, PostScript 3 and PDF direct printing, as well as 128mb Ram and network connectivity as standard.
Jonathan Robbins, product manager at Kyocera, said: "The new FS-C5015 and FS-C5025 make excellent additions to the Kyocera colour product range.
"With an attractive cost-per-page, long life components and proven Kyocera ECOSYS technology, they can be integrated seamlessly into any office environment."
