Lexmark conducts printer survey
Monday 02 July, 2007
The maker of
Lexmark printer cartridges and
Lexmark laser printers has conducted a new survey.
Lexmark's international study found that wireless printing is becoming attractive to an increasing number of people around the world.
People from nine different nations across the globe, including the US, Australia, Japan and Sweden, were asked why they had purchased Lexmark wireless printers in the past.
The four main factors cited as reasons for purchasing the Lexmark product were ease of use, affordability, quality and performance guarantee.
"Consumers are taking advantage of the freedom that wireless home networks offer and they are looking for that same flexibility with printing," said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president and president of its consumer printer division.
"They are asking for wireless printing that is affordable, easy to use and reliable. We listened and we're responding."
In April, Lexmark announced that its 2007 product line offered the most affordable range of wireless printers on the market.
