Lexmark has become the latest company that produces printers to benefit from Buyers Laboratory (BLI) recognition for the quality of its products.
The firm that has been testing printer industry products for 40 years has named Lexmark's multifunction printers (MFPs) as some of the best in the business.
Lexmark has been given a Fall Pick of the Year award for Most Outstanding Monochrome MFP Line, the company has revealed, a great accolade for the printing and imaging solutions and services company.
"[Lexmark's MFPs] are robust, dependable devices that provide users with standard print, copy, fax and scan functionality out of the box," BLI said.
"Add to that the easy-to-use customisable colour touch screen, the convenient USB flash drive on the control panel that allows users to scan and print files without a PC and the network-friendly administrative utilities, and you've got a winning combination that meets the needs of a variety of users."
The X642e, X646ef, X850e and X852e, all members of this outstanding line, also received individual recognition in the form of Pick of the Year awards.
In October last year, Lexmark launched its E-series of laser monochrome printers, which combines breakthrough printhead technology, an instant warm-up fuser and two-sided printing.
