Friday 25 August, 2006
Canon has unveiled its new range of printers for both homes and small offices through its latest brand.
Laser printers launched under the i-sensys marque promise to appear as both black and colour printers along with laser all-in-ones and faxes.
"Starting today, i-sensys will be the unifying theme of all of Canon's Laser products encapsulating key Canon technologies to provide high quality products for small businesses and home offices," said Mogens Jensen, head of Canon consumer imaging, Europe.
"With i-sensys, the time is right to reaffirm Canon's commitment to the market, and launch our new laser mono and colour laser printers, laser all-in-ones and faxes as a complete office solution."
According to Canon, the printers are designed to be efficient and use existing technology, such as all-in-one cartridges for easy maintenance, in addition to new tools.
First offerings from the new range will be the i-sensys all-in-one with 20ppm and the 21ppm colour and mono system, which are supplied as network-ready.
