Olivetti launches new multifunction
Wednesday 06 September, 2006
Olivetti, the home and office products company, has announced the launch of a new A3 multifunctional digital colour system that it says "turns any office into a print centre".
The Olivetti d-Colour MF45 has print, copy, scan and fax function and uses a polymer toner and print controller to reel off both colour text and images at an excellent 1800x600 dpi.
An excellent range of zooms is also available on the MF45, with 25 per cent to 400 per cent zoom on offer.
A 40 GB hard disk and 1024 MB memory make print queues simple to get through and document management easy.
Scan to e-mail, scan to PC, scan to Box, scan to FTP, SMB, TWAIN as well as PDF compression are all available with the scanner option, which completes 38 scans per minute.
The fax function is just as useful. As well as using the internet to transmit documents rather than telephone lines, PDF and TIFF format documents can be sent and received.
