Printer adapter allows Bluetooth printing
Wednesday 04 October, 2006
Internet electronics retailer Gizoo has devised a clever little gadget to help consumers aiming to achieve the wireless home office.
The Bluetooth Printer Adapter allows the user to send data directly from a computer to a printer without the need for parallel cables or even USB cables cluttering up the desktop, floor or office.
For £39.95, the user gets the ability to send information from any Bluetooth enabled device directly to the printer. The printer adapter plugs into the printer's USB port, following which printing can begin from a mobile, PDA, digital camera or laptop.
There is no special installation drivers required and transmission can reach up to 100 metres, meaning the printer and sending device could even be on different sides of the office.
So that means that all users need to do is make sure they have plenty of printer ink ready to enable them to print what they want, when they want, from the variety of technology that the Bluetooth Printer Adapter supports.
