Monday 30 October, 2006
Ricoh is to begin tthe integration of its European businesses, the company has announced, which it hopes will mean "new ways to excite [its] customers".
Plans to create a "world-class pan-European organisation" have been devised, which Ricoh is hopeful will be completed within the current financial year.
The move could mean greater cooperation over the development of new products for European customers of Ricoh, with better knowledge-sharing one of the reasons behind the project.
"In our increasingly competitive market place, we need to constantly strive to deliver superior customer service and satisfaction, find new ways to excite our customers and ensure that we maintain a low cost and highly efficient operation," said Shiro 'Simon' Sasaki, chairman of Ricoh EMEA group and CEO of Ricoh Europe.
"I am confident that Ricoh Group is up for this major step forward and can achieve a combined successful EMEA business with the dedication, innovation and hard work of our employees."
Ricoh UK and Ireland recently showcased a number of its print solutions at Digital Print World, the exhibition that took place in London earlier this month.
