Monday 20 November, 2006
Leading specialist printer supplier TallyGenicom has announced the launch of the fastest new mobile printer available on the market.
TallyGenicom said that its new MIP 480 is up to four times faster than its nearest competition, and offers a quick and practical printing option for delivery notes and other mobile applications.
Marketing manager Richard Bright said: "It combines speed, operational flexibility and rugged reliability to offer an exceptional printer that is ideally suited for route delivery and other mobile applications."
Replacing its existing MIP 360, the new printer adds an extra 120 characters per second in print speed, and offers Bluetooth compatibility.
The firm said that among other potential users for the new printer, emergency services and perishable goods drivers could find it useful when needing to print information in transit.
TallyGenicom is one of a number of firms included in a recent $500 million niche investment fund from majority shareholder Arsenal Capital Partners. The fund features sector-specific manufacturing and service sector companies.
