Xerox extends Ducati deal
Thursday 12 October, 2006
The name of printer manufacturer Xerox will be printed upon superbikes and bikers' leathers for a further two years following the news that Xerox has extended its sponsorship deal with the Ducati Corse World Superbike team.
Under the terms of the new deal, people will continue to see the Xerox name emblazoned on bikes and leathers alike until at least 2008.
"We are very excited to see our partnership with Ducati continue," said Anthony Hyde, head of brand and marketing communications, Xerox Europe.
"Our shared objectives of delivering outstanding performance, providing word class technology, and sustaining leadership make this partnership a perfect fit both on and off the track."
The deal offers brand exposure to Xerox, meaning it can bring its printers and Xerox printer cartridges to the attention of the sport's fans.
Behind the scenes, Xerox also supplies document production and publishing services, printer fleet management and e-procurement services to the Ducati organisation.
