Buyers Lab names software Pick of the Year
Tuesday 02 January, 2007
Buyers Laboratory (BLI), the independent office equipment tester, has named print management software Print Audit 5 as a Pick of the Year.
Developed by company Print Audit, the software allows print tracking and management that the tester obviously believed was ahead of the competition in a number of categories, including ease of use, support, security and global business readiness.
"Print Audit 5 is a very cost effective, IT-friendly solution," said BLI research editor, Ben Curry.
"BLI recommends this solution for organisations seeking a scalable, inexpensive application that has proven itself in the marketplace."
Print Audit said that it was "thrilled" to have received the Pick of the Year award, which it referred to as a "great honour".
The company is entering its ninth year of producing print tracking and copy auditing solutions, which it says are in use around the world. BLI has been carrying out its tests on products for more than 40 years.
Konica Minolta's magicolor 7450 was named the Fall 2006 Pick of the Year for the small workgroup multi pass colour printer market in December.
