Canon offers LFP deals
Wednesday 01 November, 2006
Canon is offering any business that uses its large format printers (LFPs) a great incentive to upgrade to the company's latest machines.
Canon is offering a rebate of £800 to anyone who exchanges their old LFP for a new Canon machine, either the imagePROGRAF iPF600 or the imagePROGRAF iPF700.
"Canon's large format portfolio is developing and strengthening and we hope that this scheme will encourage customers to experience the true versatility and quality of our printers," said Geoff Slaughter, director, Canon Partner Channel, Canon UK.
"After all, our large format printers are not simply for printing plans and maps but also presentations, so there is no need to purchase two printers."
Mr Slaughter continued by saying that the company wanted to make the purchase of the latest LFP technology a "viable business opportunity" for those firms that wanted "cutting-edge" printing systems.
Aimed predominantly at the CAD channel, the imagePROGRAF printers are able to print with two types of black printer ink, photo black and matte black.
Excellent lines and small characters are generated by the 1200dpi that the imagePROGRAF printers offer.
The full imagePROGRAF range comprises ten LFPs, including machines that use dye.
