Epson launches new A2 printer

Epson has launched its latest printer to make an assault on the A2 market with the Stylus Pro 3800 joining the company's product list.
Featuring UltraChrome K3 ink, the printer has been described as "perfect" for someone looking to print bigger, but in a cost-effective manner.
"It is a perfect match for the cost sensitive professional seeking a large format desktop printer. The excellent quality of output combined with versatility makes it ideal in a number of environments, from photography studios and galleries to print bureaus," said Marco van Niekerk, professional graphics product manager at Epson Europe.
"UltraChrome K3 ink provides brilliant photographic output and superior detail. While the flexible media support and ability to print a variety of sizes from A6 to A2 makes the Stylus Pro 3800 incredibly unique."
Glossy paper, matte paper, fine art paper and plain paper, up to a thickness of 1.5mm are all compatible with the Epson Stylus Pro 3800.
The UltraChrome K3 Ink system, is an eight-colour pigment system that includes cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta, light black, light black, photo black or matte black.
