Wednesday 28 February, 2007
Extech Data Systems has announced the launch of its new battery-operated thermal printer, which may be of interest to users of
Canon laser toner cartridges and
Lexmark laser printers.
The new S3750THS three-inch thermal printer features wireless 802.11b connectivity and is able to produce high-resolution prints with the help of an automatic thermal print contrast mechanism, reports IT Backbones.
"[Extech] printers are highly portable, durable, yet small and light enough to wear on a belt," said Extech Data Systems.
"The printer designs allow easy modification to meet customer requirements," it added.
Printer drivers are available for a number of operating systems, including Windows XP and Windows 2000 and may be of interest to existing users of
Epson printer cartridges and
HP printer cartridges who need to print receipts that can include graphics such as logos and bar codes.
